Well another Christmas has flown by… I had a fantasic time this year, one of the best in a long while. We had my dad’s twin brother and his partner over from Australia. I hadn’t seen him since Christmas 2000 in South Africa, so it was real nice for us all to catch up and share memories. It’s such a shame that my family is spread so far and wide accross the globe, why can’t we all just live in the same country.

Anyways got a nice prezzy for Christmas, I went halves with my parents on a nice shiney new Canon 70-200 mm L lens (which gives me 112-320mm on my EOS 10D). These are the first photos I’ve taken with it… on our Boxing Day walk on Stanpit Marsh. It’s like discovering a whole new aspect of photography, quite fantastic, I can now take photos of things that I never even thought of before or thought possible. It’s a great inspirational boost.

I hope you all had a great festive Christmas aswell, and I hope you have an awesome New Years too.
