This set of close-up photography is one my favorite from my archive. It was just one of those days where it all came together. so to speak.

Hey man, I really like your close up stuff, how do you get so close to your subject? What kit do you use? And do you get many annoying emails like this one?!! Love your work fella, I’ll be back here for sure…

Hey dude, thanks for your comment… no never get annoyed by commnets, the more the better.

I use a Canon 10D for most of my photos. As far as the close-up stuff goes I use a Canon IXUS 500 and a Powershot S45 with an lens attachmet I made myself.

Do you take many photos? Have you got a site?

hello again. My site is CtrlAltCreate.co.uk , check it out if you like. Its kind of in bits at the moment, needs some work. There’s a lot of stuff I’ve taken recently that I havent put up there, but some of my stuff will be in the next issue of slash magazine if you’re in the states. I havent had the time recently to work on my site but I really should find some!
How did you make yourself a close up adapeter? Sounds pretty complex man! I use an Olympus c5050z myself, do you think I’d be able to build a similar adapter for that? Im really getting into macro photography, I think it has a lot of untapped potential.

Love this one… the specular highlight of the water drop is wonderful in the sea of green. Very successful macro! :)
