I wasn’t going to post this set, just don’t really think they are good enough but hey what the hell…
I’m really just posting them as an excuse to shout about the new updates to my site. First of all, I’ve finally created the links page. It’s basically a list that I’ve taken from my bookmarks in Firefox, got quite a lot more to add but that’ll have to wait until later.
Secondly I’ve created a Flickr stream, it’s in the left column at the bottom. Basically I’ll be using it only for my mobile phone photos, so don’t expect great things. To view all the phone photos I’ve uploaded so far visit my Flickr page. All of the photos there are taken with a Samsung D500 (which is awesome by the way, Read an excellent review of it here).
Back to this set of photos then. These flowers are called Snowdrops or (Galanthus) for the well educated. They are one of the very first flowers to poke their heads out of the frost bitten soil. They are the true sign that spring is on its way and the winter is on the wane. Awesome, summer is a comming.

this is a great series of shots, It makes me want a macro lense so much now, the detail you managed to get is stunning.

Quite soft focus for you mate. I think it works considering the subject though. I’m liking 1 & 5 a lot…

cheers miles. These aren’t crops though, they are the original photographs. I’m very much of a purist photographer and don’t believe in cropping.
