This set is from the 5th stage, Moors Valley Country Park, of the Sunseeker Bournemouth Rally 2005.
I managed to drag myself outta bed (with the help of 4 alams and many missed calls) at 7am on Saturday morning, after 5-too-many pints the night before. Dave and Ed were patiently waiting for me outside (although they had occupied themselves by writing abuse on every square inch of my snow-covered-car - bastards!!)
Anyway to cut a very boring and long story short… arrived -> were almost killed by a rogue mentalist driver (missed us by about a foot) -> enjoyed mouldy coffee -> felt ill from raw sausage sandwiches -> enjoyed more mouldy coffee -> hit in face by huge rock -> whipped in face by large branch -> bled -> came home battered and bruised.
A rally (sorry, but it had to be done) good day was had by all… will definitely go again, but next time will be prepared.
Took about 140 photos in all, most of them pretty boring with only the occasional one showing any signs of speed or action. Got tons of nice looking cars… but without any sense of speed they look as if they’re parked on the track.
If you want to see them let me know and I’ll put another set up.
